| Don's best scene to date is in RUFFIAN, chapter 4 at 10:43 into the DVD. Dons full face is seen in the upper-right-top talking to a handicapper, shaking hands, tossing up his racing program and walking to the left across the top of the screen to some lady friends on left screen. He is also briefly seen in chapter 17 at 1:06:50 into the DVD, after the breakdown, when Frank Whaley runs into Don. . In THE MIST he is in the grocery store scenes and visible in two separate scenes. In ROSCOE JENKINS he is distant and out-of-focus in the Los Angeles airport scene. In LOUISIANA RADIO WAVES, Don tells on camera of the Elvis Presley EXCLUSIVE given to the late George Carlin when he worked the Shreveport market as a DJ by Stan Lewis. In I HOPE THEY SERVE BEER IN HELL, Don is visible in the first wedding scene and several times in the reception scenes as the grand-father at the head table with Megan Fay. In BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT, after the opening courtroom scene of the trial, the camera pans Dina Merril, and shortly after Don can be seen under the out-stretched arm of Michael Douglas. |
